When looking at the scoreboards and information around the 2022-2023 season and earlier, huge disparities can be seen.

LACK OF JV TEAMS
For programs to grow, develop and be successful, having a JV program is crucial. They give students an opportunity to learn the game, improve, allow more students to play, and generate long-term interest in the game.
HOW WE HELP
Increase student engagement and interest
Use social media!!! We aim to select and post a Sticks Up MOCO player of the week for the 2023 season to spread the word about the amazing players to go watch! (Nominations will open in August!)
Youth Opportunites
Host free clinics for elementary and middle school. We are aiming to coordinate with other teams to be able to set these up.
Work to set up field hockey related presentations and activities between just high schools but between high schools and feeder schools!
ECONOMIC DISPARITIES
There is no denying that field hockey is an expensive sport. This is something that can prevent students from playing and make it seem like an elite sport.
