FOUNDERS STATEMENT

Playing field hockey at Blair, we noticed some disparities in MOCO field hockey compared to other sports. Many schools don’t have a JV team, or even struggle to roster a varsity one. Even at Blair, the biggest high school in MD, our program annually struggles to fill a JV team. Across the board, field hockey, including equipment and opportunities to play, is an expensive and hard-to-access sport that is difficult for many to participate in. Our goal is to level the playing field and create a competitive and collective field hockey program in MOCO, which allows everyone a chance to play a sport we all love so much!
